Position OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for a senior academic in the area of cognitive and behavioural neuroscience based in the School of Psychology. Applicants will have demonstrated research skills with a particular emphasis in one or more research areas of behavioural and cognitive neuroscience, an exceptional research record, the ability to lead a research program and proven ability to teach and supervise students at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Job description 
Purpose StatementThe purpose of this position is contribute to the School's high quality research and teaching, particularly in the general area of cognitive and behavioural neuroscience. The staff member will be expected to add to the existing strengths of the School in terms of research, teaching and administration.

Key Accountability AreasResrearch, teaching and administration.
Person Specification 
QualificationsA PhD degree in a relevant area.
ExperienceA number of year's post-PhD experience in a research-active position. Teaching experience and research supervision in relevant areas.
